Sloan Expands Connected Product Offering to Include G2® and ECOS® Flushometers
Sloan, the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, has expanded its existing lineup of connected products to include G2 and ECOS Flushometers. As the industry leader with the largest selection of connected products, Sloan’s featured faucets and flushometers are utilizing Bluetooth connectivity and advanced technology to enhance maintenance capabilities.
Sloan’s connected products are enabling facility maintenance teams to wirelessly monitor the health and status of restroom fixtures, troubleshoot issues, easily generate and share diagnostic reports, adjust sensor range, and more all from the Sloan Connect App®. The Sloan Connect App allows users to set periodic line flushes in facilities with intermittent use, such as stadiums or educational facilities. This will keep water flowing through the lines, minimizing the risk of stagnant water and other issues.
“Restroom maintenance has traditionally been a difficult task, one that requires facility maintenance teams to physically handle products in order to make frequent in-person adjustments,” said Faye Badger, Sloan’s product line manager for IoT. “Sloan’s connected product line is our solution to make maintenance easier and more efficient by spotting issues before they happen, and we’re excited to launch two more flushometers that can be managed using this technology.”
Sloan’s G2 Flushometer automatically operates by means of an infrared sensor with a user-friendly, three-second flush delay and Courtesy Flush® override button. Additionally, Sloan ECOS Flushometers provide dual-flush or single-flush, hands-free sensor operation. As the flushometer automatically initiates a full or reduced flush based on how long the user remains in sensor range, this feature can reduce water volume by up to 30%.
Sloan G2 and ECOS Flushometers join other Sloan products such as the SOLIS® Flushometer, Optima® ETF/EBF Faucets, as well as select Optima EAF and BASYS® EFX Faucets with the use of a Bluetooth Adapter, to offer hygienic, touch-free commercial restroom solutions.
