Sustainability 101: How to Build a Truly Eco-Friendly School

Our mission at Sloan is to help architects, designers and engineers build more sustainable commercial and public buildings. Of those projects, the most important may be eco-friendly schools.

Why? Because — according to a recent study — “Children attending sustainably designed schools had significantly more pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors.” Building sustainable schools, in other words, helps create more environmentally aware adults.
