Sustainability Savings
Sustainability was a top priority for CFCU with the construction of its new headquarters. The member-owned cooperative elected to equip its restrooms with twelve Sloan® 8111 Flushometers for water closets and four Sloan® 8186 Flushometers for urinals based on their high-efficiency water-saving features. At just 1.6 and 0.5 gallons per flush, respectively, the 8111 and 8186 flushometers prove that conserving water and hygiene-friendly features can go hand-in-hand. Both flushometers feature touch-free technology that has already become a favorite feature of CFCU employees, who appreciate how the sensor flushometers work jointly with Sloan’s AER-DEC sinks to create a hands-free restroom experience that has resulted in the elimination of paper towels from all of the building’s restrooms.
Welcoming Aesthetics
As a community-oriented business, CFCU wanted its new headquarters to feel like a part of the neighborhood. In fact, it brought the neighborhoods inside, as different parts of the building invoke the spirit of local neighborhoods. Outfitting the restrooms with custom AER-DEC AD-82000 Sinks offered an aesthetically pleasing hand-washing experience with two different color options (Concrete Carbon and Sorrel Corian®) to match various design themes throughout the building. With BASYS® EFX-200 Faucets, ESD-400 Soap Dispensers, and hand dryers all within arm’s reach, Sloan’s integrated sink system helped streamline the handwashing process without any hazard of dripping water around the sink or on the floor.
